Meet Isabella Barbee.

Isabella has been at Plains Commerce Bank for over 5 years. She started as a temp on the disclosure desk before transitioning to become a loan processor under senior mortgage banker, Dawn Van Nieuwenhuyzen. With her growth on this team, she was drawn to the mortgage banker position, where she could continue her love for accounting while fulfilling her passion for helping families in a more hands-on capacity. Bella says, “One of the best feelings is helping families achieve the goal of buying their dream home.” She prides herself on delivering a smooth, stress-free experience for every family she helps in making the biggest investment in their future through homeownership.

From the initial application to the closing table, Bella is there every step of the way. She is available to answer questions, run payments, collaborate with realtors, and ensure you are set up with the best loan program for your needs. Whether you are a first-time homebuyer, looking to purchase your second home, or refinancing to shorten your loan term, Bella will treat your financing as her own!

Isabella holds a degree from the University of South Dakota. She grew up in Hartford, SD, and has lived in various places from Hawaii to California to Arizona before settling down in Sioux Falls. Bella and her husband, Gunnar, are proud parents to their daughter, Sunnie. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, reading, working out, or cuddling her four French Bulldogs – Bonnie, Millie, Savvy, and Knox.
