No one likes paying overdraft fees. Avoid them by activating Ready Reserve(1) on your checking account.
But how does it work?
Ready Reserve is a personal line of credit (a short-term loan) that you access through your checking account here at Plains Commerce Bank.
If your checking account balance falls below $0 and you have Ready Reserve, we’ll advance the funds you need to your account to keep it from becoming overdrawn.
We’ll advance those funds in $200 increments up to your approved credit limit. (Limits vary, but usually range from $500 to $2,000.)
There are no annual costs to use Ready Reserve, and you only pay interest if you use it. There’s really no reason not to protect your account.
