Meet Matt Brockmeier. Matt received his bachelors degree from University of Nebraska-Lincoln in Finance, and later received his MBA with an emphasis in entrepreneurship from the University of Missouri. He began his career in banking in credit management before moving into the commercial sector. Matt’s experience also includes business development in the healthcare industry.

He enjoys working with a range of businesses, including developers, builders, manufacturers, healthcare, startups and non-profits. Matt is well versed in C&I, CRE, and SBA loans as well.

“My favorite part of my position is working with business owners and building strong relationships. I love being a trusted advisor that they can always count on. I have a bit of an entrepreneurial background, so I really enjoy learning everything I can about the businesses I work with,” Matt remarks.

Serving on a range of boards throughout the years including Suncatcher Ministries, the Risk Management Association, the Construction Financial Management Association, and the Sioux Empire Home Builders Association’s Care Foundation, he dedicates his time to bettering his community. He has also been involved with the Young Professional’s Network and Chamber of Commerce in Sioux Falls, Omaha, and Kansas City.

Outside of work, he loves to travel with his family and participate in outdoor activities including skiing, hiking, snowboarding, and camping. He has five sons ranging from a few months old to 13 years old and a dog who all do their best to keep him busy.
