Rhonda Borchard
VP Business Banker
Meet Rhonda Borchard. Rhonda graduated from Northern State University with a degree in Business and majors in both Accounting and Finance, in addition to further education from Ag Lending School and Dakota School of Banking. Since her beginning as a teller, she's now worked in the industry for 41 years, spanning roles including management, loan officer, and now commercial and ag lending. One of her favorite aspects of her work aligns with her accounting background, as she enjoys putting financial information together and analyzing data to help the customer focus on their goals and success.
"I enjoy working with people, and the best part of my job is to see someone achieve their goals or stability by assisting them with financial decisions. What a remarkable feeling to have a customer say, 'Thank you, I couldn't have done that without you.'" Rhonda states.
Rhonda is an active member of her community as an auditor and past treasurer at her church. She is Secretary on the Mellette Community Development board, as well as being a treasurer for the Mellette Legion Auxiliary. She is also a part of the Northwestern Strollers, Relay for Life team.
Rhonda has been married to her husband, Max, for 37 years, and together they have two children and four grandchildren. When she's not at the bank, you can find her and her husband cheering on grandchildren at their various extracurricular events. They enjoy fishing at West Whitlock on the Missouri River, and Rhonda also likes to bake and read.
